Sweet Escape

Sweet Escape started with one question: what if the dessert didn’t stay where it was supposed to?

The collection includes sculptural faux desserts and wall panels, all made by hand from resin in my studio. Some pieces stand on their own. Others push through, spill over, or escape the panel entirely.

I’m not trying to make replicas of real desserts. Resin gives me permission to make the impossible ones — layers that look like ice, colors that shouldn’t exist in cake, crystal formations, suspended details, and drips permanently caught in place.

Each piece is built one layer at a time, and no two come out exactly the same. That unpredictability is part of why I work with resin in the first place.

Sweet Escape is where I get to see just how far I can push it.
