Pink Amethyst Faux Cake - Sweet Escape

Story of the piece:
This one started with the colors. I wanted strong pink and purple, but I also wanted to keep enough clear resin in the cake that you could actually see through the layers.
The cake is made entirely from resin, with alternating pink, deep purple and clear layers filled with crushed glass. I made the crystal cluster on top from resin too, including the larger pink crystal points.
I especially like what happens when the light hits this one. The clear sections, crushed glass and crystals catch it differently depending on where the cake is sitting, while the solid pink and purple layers keep the whole thing from disappearing into sparkle.
