Story of the piece:
Poured in my Pacific Northwest studio, this sculptural cake slice is cast entirely from epoxy resin and finished with individually placed translucent blueberries, layered filling, and a glossy icing effect.
Although realistic in appearance, this piece is intended solely as decorative art. It won’t melt, spoil, or lose its color, making it suitable for display throughout the year.
Each sculpture is individually poured and assembled by hand, so small variations in the blueberry placement and icing flow are part of the process rather than defects.
