Story of the piece:
Frozen Chess Set
A full-size resin chess set made as part of my Ice Collection.
The board measures 12.4 × 12.4 inches and is made with alternating clear ice and deep blue squares. The ice effect is created inside the resin rather than added to the surface, so the board remains completely smooth.
The set includes all 32 resin chess pieces in two finishes: clear ice and deep translucent blue. I have two complete chess piece molds specifically so I can pour the full set together and keep the colors and effects consistent.
Every board is poured individually, so the ice patterns, fractures and clarity will vary slightly from set to set.
The complete set comes in a black presentation case with fitted foam storage for the individual chess pieces and space for the board.
