A Note from Vika — Artist & Founder, Moss & Lantern
Every piece leaves my Pacific Northwest studio finished by my own hands — built in small numbers, never mass-produced, and made to be kept for a long time. Thank you for giving one a home.
Aurora Borealis Orb No. 1
Product Details & Care
Meticulously crafted from high-clarity, UV-stable resin, preserving natural elements and miniature woodland detail.
Story of the piece:
Some colors don’t stay still.
Inside this hand-poured orb, translucent emerald resin folds through itself in slow ribbons, creating the illusion of light suspended beneath the surface. Turn it in your hand and the patterns shift, revealing new depths from every angle.
No molds are painted. No pattern is added afterward. The movement is created during the pour itself, making every orb impossible to reproduce exactly.
Designed as a collectible art object, Aurora Borealis Orb No. 001 is equally at home on a bookshelf, desk, display cabinet, or alongside a growing collection of miniature sculptures.
Like every Moss & Lantern piece, it is made slowly by hand in my Pacific Northwest studio and finished one at a time.
