Two Blues, Too Close — Glacier, Test No. 1

Held side by side, Glacier Ice and Aquamarine Ice spoke over each other. Both blue. Both lit from within. In the hand, too close to the same voice.
Two colorways should not ask to be told apart.

So Glacier steps back. Not bluer — clearer. Aquamarine keeps the cyan, the ocean note, the pull toward water. Glacier reaches for something colder and quieter: not water tinted blue, but water gone to ice. The clearest piece in the collection. The one that reads as the thing itself.

Test No. 1 holds a single variable — clarity — and asks how far it can travel before Glacier stops reading as a color at all. There is a line where restraint becomes absence. The piece has to sit just short of it.

The verdict isn’t in. The pour is settling.
