Story of the piece:
In many traditions the elephant is a guardian — a keeper of memory, worn for protection.
The drop is cast in Amethyst Ice, a pale violet resin cut through with the look of carved crystal. It hangs from a pearl studs set with a lavender rose; a second rose is held by the elephant’s trunk. Each pair is cast from The Artist’s sculpture in her Pacific Northwest studio, and no two hold the light the same way.
